Windows Windarium Opening

On July 7th in New Holland's Family Center, The Windows Windarium will open its workspace – it will become an interactive educational platform that will introduce visitors to the latest information technology. The Windarium is a container equipped with computers, internet, a screen for film viewing, as well as Xboxs with the gaming controller Kinect.

The Windarium's program has four dimensions, each of which will be presented over 3-4 weeks: Communication: 30.06 - 21.07

Knowledge: 21.07 - 11.08

Entertainment: 11.08-01.09

Creativity: 01.09 - 30.09

Within the framework of "Communication" the Windarium's staff will help visitors to create their own unique business card, process the pictures, learn to typeset and the secrets behind a good presentation. Xbox consoles will always be available for gamers. In addition, lectures will be devoted to work on social networks and the use of the latest technologies in communications. During the first weekends of the Windarium's operation there will be TV bridges with other countries every hour, the island's visitors will be able to meet people from the most remote corners of the world.

Lectures on the opening days:

Saturday: 12:30 - 13:30 "Why do we do what we do: the history of Microsoft." Account Manager of Microsoft and enthusiast Alexei Fedorov will talk about what is behind Microsoft, what each of its 100,000 employees do each day and what will be in style in the future.

13:30 - 14:30 "I like it. Effective communication in social networks." This lecture is held by ex-SMM-specialist for the digital communications agency Molinos.ru, Valeria Ivanova. The lecturer will introduce students to the basic methods of promotion on social networks as well as teach listeners how to detect bots and fake-comments.

Sunday: 14:00 - 15:00 "The future forms of communication." Account Manager of Microsoft and enthusiast Alexei Fedorov will explain how and where technologies have moved the world, and also speak on whether or not "the world of the future" is so far away.

15:00 - 16:30 Workshop: "Creating the Future - from idea to realization." Participants of the master-class will split up into teams to answer the question of how technological development can contribute to solving the key problems facing humanity? Lectures will be held at the Windarium Windows educational site - the pink container.
