Dave Harrington is a multi-instrumentalist, producer and, together with Nicolas Jaar, member of the electronica group Darkside. The Dave Harrington Group will showcase their new album Pure Imagination, No Country, released on 1 February 2019, at New Holland Island. Here, static ambient fragments are transformed with ease into guitar improvisation accompanied by driving rhythms. In essence, this is jazz — jazz that is made possible only in conditions of utterly liberated musical imagination.
