DJ History: Public talk with Bill Brewster

November 26, 9 pm

Bill Brewster — a man, who knows everything about disc jockeying. His career is full of theory and practice for that matter. A co-author of Last Night A DJ Saved My Life, How To DJ (Properly) and The Record Players, an ex-editor and a longest serving writer at Mixmag USA and a member of DMC, on one hand, one of the founding residents at Fabric London, a successful promoter responsible for Low Life parties and a DJ who played at every major club in the UK, on the other.

An advanced insider of DJ and nightlife industry, the british journalist will ably answer questions like «who was the first modern DJ?», «why disco is so important?», «why superstar DJs are just marketing and not important», and tell anything else we need to know before we start partying at the Kuznya House.

The public talk will be hosted by Kirill Sergeev (artistic director of Kuznya House, DJ & producer under Kito Jempere moniker) and Timofey Smirnov (DJ Timofey).

Advance registration is requested.
