July 6, 12 PM – 10 PM
On 6 July the first event of The Longest Table charity project will take place on New Holland Island.
The Longest Table's aim is to bring together around one table like-minded people, be they residents, partners or simply visitors to the New Holland: cultural urbanization project, to give help and support to a selected charity. Our partner for the first event in The Longest Table series is the Butterfly Children fund, which works to help children suffering from the rare genetic condition epidermolysis bullosa.
Throughout the day, New Holland Island will be transformed into a giant meadow fit for a picnic, with barbecues, street-food and signature dishes by St Petersburg’s most renowned chefs – Igor Grishechkin (Cococo) and Duo.Band, as well as music, games for children and grown-ups, an open-air cinema showing the film David Bowie: Finding Fame as part of the Beat Film Festival programme, and much more besides.
All proceeds from the event will go towards treatment and support for children suffering from the condition epidermolysis bullosa, and to the development of the Butterfly Children fund’s programmes.
Tickets: adults — 500 roubles, Concessions — 250 roubles, children under 13 — free. Tickets will be available on July 6.
With support from DLT.
