Demonstration: Creation of art piece from local waste

REFUNC is a Dutch design laboratory founded by Denis Oudendijk and Jan Körbes working at the crossroads of design, art and architecture, to create experimental and functional structures from local waste and recyclables and potential building elements. They like to define themselves as troubleshooters or shape finders and their creations as playful, experimental, functional. Their works are always connected to the local context and the history of the items used, and answer to the logic of improvisation in order to find a solution for a specific need. As a result of the study and the interaction with New Holland and its identity, REFUNC will produce a unique object, based on the research conducted on site. The process of creation itself will have the form of an improvised public demonstration.
