Jan Hoek — Me&My Models

Foam Museum Amsterdam proudly presents the exhibition Me & My Models by young photographer and writer Jan Hoek. The artists explores the relationship between the photographer and its models, the boundaries existing between the idea of the photographer and the idea of ourselves.

Hoek tells us stories of amateur models, mentally ill homeless people in Africa or people he has simply found in advertisements on the internet. The exhibition will include a screening of a film in which the photographer divulges more about unpleasant, amusing, touching and painful moments from his professional life.

The exhibition will be open from 4th till 14th July.
