Sani Kontula-Webb talks about the leading Finnisn artist of his epoch: Albert Gustaf Aristides Edelfelt.

Sani Kontula-Webb is an art historian and the director of Finnish Institute in St. Petersburg.

Admission is free of charge, lecture is delivered in Russian. Attendees must register in advance (link in Russian).


The programme was prepared by the Hermitage XXI Century Foundation. Lectures are organized with the participation of leading specialists and are accompanied by the display of rare flm and photo materials. A special event will be devoted to the the Russian Pavilion at the 58th Venice Biennale of Contemporary Art curated by The State Hermitage Museum.
